Marvin A. Tung Award
The Marvin A. Tung Award honors the legacy of Dr. Marvin Tung, a respected researcher, educator, mentor, and leader whose contributions helped advance the science and practice of thermal processing. Established to recognize excellence in technical achievement, innovation, and dedication to the profession, this award celebrates individuals who embody Dr. Tung’s commitment to knowledge sharing, research, education, and the continuous advancement of food safety and thermal processing. IFTPS Merit Award
 The IFTPS Merit Award recognizes members who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, service, and support to the Institute for Thermal Processing Specialists. This honor is awarded to individuals whose contributions have strengthened the organization through leadership, volunteer service, technical presentations, committee participation, development of industry resources and protocols, and efforts to grow and engage the membership.
